Dashboard home

When you log in, you land on the dashboard home page. It shows a time-based greeting ("Good morning," "Good afternoon," or "Good evening") with your first name, along with the prompt "Build and send screening interviews in seconds."

The dashboard is organized into sections:

  • Create an interview — A primary button to open the interview creation wizard.

  • Try an AI Interview demo — Click Start demo interview to experience the interview from a candidate's perspective. Opens in a new tab.

  • Latest candidates — The 3 most recent candidate completions across all your interviews, showing name, interview title, and when they submitted. A green dot indicates candidates who completed within the last 24 hours.

  • Your interviews — A full list of all interviews in your organization with search, status filters, and quick actions.

Sidebar navigation

The left sidebar is your main navigation. At the top, the organization selector lets you switch between organizations if you belong to more than one.

Below that, the primary navigation items are:

  • Dashboard — Home page with your latest candidates and interviews.

  • Interviews — Your full interview list with an overview card showing active roles and billing usage.

  • Candidates — A global view of all candidates across all interviews.

  • Analytics — Charts and metrics for interview activity, scores, and performance trends.

After a separator, the secondary navigation items are:

  • Settings — Organization profile, branding, team management, billing, global interview settings, and templates.

  • Integrations — Connect your ATS (e.g., Zoho Recruit) and configure sync settings.

  • Developers — Opens the API documentation for embedding and webhooks (external link, opens in new tab).

  • Help Center — Opens the Intercom Help Center with guides and support.

If you're on a trial plan, a card at the bottom of the sidebar shows "Trial ends in X day(s)" with an Upgrade button.

Managing your interviews list

In the Your interviews section (on the dashboard home or the Interviews page), each interview row shows:

  • Job title

  • Number of candidates who have completed the interview

  • Interview status (Open or Closed)

Click any row to open the interview detail page.

Available actions for each interview

  • Open / Closed dropdown — Toggle whether the interview accepts new candidates. Closing an interview shows a confirmation dialog.

  • More menu (⋯) — Access additional actions:

    • Duplicate — Create a copy of the interview with all settings preserved.

    • Delete — Permanently remove the interview (with confirmation).

Use the search bar (placeholder: "Search active roles") to find interviews by title, and the status filter (All / Open / Closed) to narrow the list.

Overview metrics

On the Interviews page (accessible from the sidebar), an Overview card at the top displays:

  • Active roles — The number of interviews currently open.

  • Interviews this period — How many completed interviews count toward your current billing period usage.

The Overview card appears on the Interviews page, not the dashboard home.

Opening and closing interviews

  • An open interview accepts new candidates. Anyone with the link can start an interview.

  • A closed interview no longer accepts new candidates. Existing candidate data and recordings remain accessible.

To change the status, use the Open / Closed dropdown on the interview row or on the interview detail page header.

First-time user experience

If you're logging in for the first time after completing onboarding, TalentSprout shows a Welcome to TalentSprout! modal with:

  • Your Growth Plan Trial details, including 250 interviews included and full access to all features.

  • A checklist of what's included: AI voice and video interviews, candidate evaluation and scoring, pre-screening, custom scoring, 50+ languages, and full custom branding.

  • Two buttons: Explore on my own to dismiss the modal, or Create interview now to jump straight into creating your first interview.

This modal only appears once.
