Changing your password

If you signed up with email and password:

  1. Go to Settings in the left sidebar.

  2. Find the Account management section.

  3. Click Change password.

  4. Enter your current password, new password, and confirm the new password.

  5. Click Change Password.

If you signed up with Google and haven't set a password yet, the button will say Set password instead. Setting a password lets you sign in with either Google or email/password.

Tip: If you signed up with Google and prefer to keep using Google sign-in only, you don't need to set a password.

Updating your email address

To update the email associated with your account:

  1. Go to Settings > Account management.

  2. Click Update account email.

  3. Enter your new email address and confirm with your password.

  4. Click Update Email.

⚠️

Note: If you don't have a password set (e.g., you signed up with Google), you'll be prompted to set one before you can change your email.

Google sign-in

TalentSprout supports signing in with Google. On the login page, click Continue with Google to sign in using your Google account.

If your Google email matches an existing TalentSprout account, you'll be signed in to that account. You can sign in with either Google or email/password if you have both set up.

Pronunciation dictionary

TalentSprout's AI interviewer uses text-to-speech to say company names, technical terms, and other words during interviews. If the AI mispronounces specific terms:

  1. Go to Settings in the left sidebar.

  2. Scroll to the Global Interview Settings section.

  3. Find the Pronunciation Dictionary subsection.

  4. Click Manage Words.

  5. Enter the Word (e.g., "Perplexity") and its Pronunciation (e.g., "per-PLEK-sih-tee").

  6. Click Add.

The AI interviewer uses your custom pronunciations across all interviews in your organization. This is especially useful for company names with unusual spellings, industry-specific technical terms, and names of products or tools.

Switching organizations

If you belong to multiple organizations (e.g., managing hiring for different teams or companies):

  1. Click the organization selector in the sidebar (shows your current organization name).

  2. Select a different organization from the dropdown.

  3. The dashboard switches to that organization's data, interviews, and settings.

Each organization has its own plan, billing, team members, and integrations.

Leaving an organization

If you're a member of an organization and want to leave:

  1. Go to Settings in the left sidebar.

  2. Find the Account management section.

  3. Click Leave organization.

  4. In the confirmation dialog, click Leave Organization to confirm.

⚠️

Important: After leaving, you lose access to that organization's data. If you're the owner, you must transfer ownership to another member before you can leave.

Security best practices

  • Use a strong, unique password if signing in with email and password.

  • Enable Google sign-in for the convenience and security of Google's authentication.

  • Review your team regularly β€” Remove members who no longer need access.

  • Transfer ownership proactively β€” If you're planning to step back from an organization, transfer ownership ahead of time.
