This article is for candidates who have been invited to take an AI interview.
Can I retake the interview?
It depends on how the employer configured the interview. Some interviews allow multiple attempts, while others allow only one.
If retakes are allowed, you'll see a Start over button after completing your first attempt.
If you've reached the maximum number of attempts, you'll see a message saying you can't retake the interview.
Contact the employer directly if you believe you should be able to retake it.
Is my interview recorded?
Yes. Your interview is recorded (audio, or audio and video if the camera was enabled) so the employer can review your responses. The recording includes:
Your audio/video responses during the conversation.
A text transcript of the conversation.
The recording is only accessible to the employer's team and anyone they choose to share it with (e.g., a hiring manager reviewing shortlisted candidates).
How long does the interview take?
The estimated duration is shown on the instructions screen before the interview begins. Most interviews take 10β20 minutes, depending on how the employer configured it. The AI paces the conversation to stay within the estimated time.
Can I use my phone?
Yes, TalentSprout works on mobile browsers. For the best experience:
Use Safari on iPhone/iPad or Chrome on Android.
Find a quiet place with good lighting (if video is enabled).
Use earbuds or headphones for better audio quality.
Prop your phone up at eye level if it's a video interview.
A computer with a webcam generally provides the best experience, but mobile works well if that's what you have available.
What happens if I lose my internet connection?
If your connection drops during the interview:
TalentSprout waits approximately 5 seconds for the connection to resume.
If the connection is restored quickly, the interview continues where you left off.
If the connection doesn't recover, the interview session ends and you'll see a message that your connection was lost.
You can click Start over to try the interview again from the beginning.

Tip: To minimize connection issues, use a stable Wi-Fi or wired connection and close other bandwidth-heavy applications.
Who sees my results?
Your interview results β including your recording, transcript, scores, and AI-generated evaluation β are shared with the employer who invited you to interview.
The employer may also share your results with:
Other team members in their organization.
External hiring managers via a share link (with configurable privacy settings β the employer controls whether your full name, email, phone, and resume are visible).
Your results are not shared publicly or with other companies.
Can I see my own scores?
Some employers enable feedback sharing so candidates can view their scores and evaluation after completing the interview. If this is enabled:
You'll see a View Results button on the completion screen.
You can review your overall score, category breakdowns, and AI-generated insights.
If feedback is not enabled, you'll only see a confirmation that your interview was submitted. Contact the employer for any questions about your results.

I didn't receive my interview link. What should I do?
If you're expecting an interview invitation but haven't received the link:
Check your spam or junk folder.
Search your inbox for emails from the employer's email address or from talentsprout.ai.
Contact the employer directly and ask them to resend the link or share it through another channel.
The interview page says "Interview closed". What does that mean?
The employer has closed this interview and it's no longer accepting new candidates. This usually means the role has been filled, the employer paused hiring for this position, or the interview had a deadline that has passed.
Contact the employer to ask about the status of the role.
